Strength

by

Taylor

The more pain i receive,
The less i grieve,
The more strength i gain,
Life is pain,
Sometimes it’s a good thing,
To feel the break of a heart string.

Woven Between Words

by

Mx.  Jupiter

We are all of the colors woven between words
Standing against the dark
We are the bird songs of silence between worlds,
Blown out candles, lost fires, pinwheel blowing helplessly in the wind
We are the ashes and embers of a long dead inferno,
The soft moments between breaths,
The stillness in conversations when all you can hear
Are matching heartbeats and silent tears
Falling hollow against rib cages
We are supernovas, creation, fiery explosions, new beginnings
We are collision, folding in on ourselves only to explode outwards,
Our heat and death bringing new life
We are shattered glass on pavement
Impersonating the stars we know we will never reach
We are the spoken language of quiet
And learning to fill in the spaces of one another until we are whole
We are breaking each other apart slowly, our blood spilling colors in the sky,
Painting our faces into masks
We are like all of the stars in the sky, drifting apart so slowly
We can't even tell,
Being pulled by invisible forces,
Shining so brightly, the light spilling out of us crash tumbling to the earth
We are interstellar dances in the vacuum of nothingness that surrounds us
So allow me to lay you down in the grass and kiss you goodnight
Because we are only a fantasy

Heartbreak

by

Taylor

The brighter the world seems
The darker part is full of screams
The dark people are forever stunned
As the bright people are sunned
One heart can only take so much
To where the slightest touch
Can end it all
And the heart shall fall

I Can't Dance With You

by

Mx. Jupiter

The reason I can't dance with you
Is I can no longer hear my heart over the rain
Falling against my cheeks
The mutilated music emitting from my throat is constricting my breath
The scars on my skin are blooming like roses caught in the fire spreading
through my soul
My hands are like serpents,
Your skin like porcelain
The constellations mapped out on your skin
You are my infinite universe of possibilities
And I'm afraid I'll get lost in the what-ifs
I'm afraid I'll get lost in you or my mind and I won't be able to tell
the difference

Life

by

Taylor

When life falls
Everyone stalls
When the world is unsteady
No one is ready
Those who leave the ones they love
Sometimes they rise above

Fruitless Garden

by
Ugly

She is yours to keep,
but not yours to own.

She is an angel,
with love as strong as
a spartan,
but she continues to plant
her love and herself into a dead garden.
