Would you break it in two?

Shatter it , trample it,

Then make it all new?

If I gave you my soul,

A part of me

Would you lock it up, chain it

Throw away the key?

If I gave you my brain

If I gave you my pain

Would you use it , reuse it

Simply misuse it?

If I lent you my thoughts

Checked out like a book

Would you damage them, return them,

Not even look?

If I gave you my love

What would you say?

Would you take it

Or make like a dove

And fly away?
